Workshop "New trends in 2D Materials "

Date: February 22-26 (2016)

Venue:  IMDEA-NANOSCIENCE (located in the Campus of UAM).

Deadline for submission of abstracts:  From November 23 to December 22th  2015  (extended !).

Website of the workshop:   http://www.nanoscience.imdea.org/spinograph-2016

Scope

The workshop "New Trends in 2D Material", sponsored by the Marie Curie ITN spinograph,  will bring together 70 researchers to present their latest results in the blossoming field of 2D Materials. Emphasis will be placed on spin effects and spintronics  in graphene and other 2D crystals, but other topics will be also discussed, including quantum transport, superconductivity, optics, and mechanical properties of 2D materials such graphene, black phosphorous, and transition metal dichalcogenides.

The program will include both invited (35+10m) talks, contributed talks (25+5m) and a poster session, as well as a special session devoted to present innovation success cases.
